Preview Chapter II: A type of mouse

I've dedicated myself to cranking out chapter II of my comic book. I've sketched out its pages and now need to ink, re-edit & add text. The above picture is a two-page sample from ch. II - inked without text.

'A type of mouse' is a story within a story that hopefully conveys the sometimes humorous and sometimes ironic (um... upsetting) learning experience one has in Ulpan (hebrew language school). It takes place within the greater context of getting lost in language and place. I suppose I also just wanted an excuse to draw furry beasts.

Flea Market Treasures

Once in a blue moon I allow myself a visit to the Jaffa Flea Market. There is always some odd knick knack or piece of trash in need of a home.

These blue eyes were just two from a box full of carved out doll eyes. They were originally from a toy factory that shut down in the 60s. I think they're wonderfully disturbing.

Carpet Painting

This is a snapshot from the Rafi Adar Music clip.

In center frame hangs a "painting" made from carpet. I should have photographed it better but... it's an image of a wolf howling at three moons (full moon, eclipse, and half). The earth was a patchwork of browns and there was a little gumdrop tree on the right side.
